Today I want to share with you a product I consider holy grail worthy of cleansing! I know a lot of people are doubtful when it comes to using oils facially. However I feel this is a big misconception and for most skin types, when used correctly can provide a deep cleansing result with pretty minimal effort.
It was when my mum received a sample of this stuff, I noticed her skin to be particularly glowy. I must admit I too with a combination skin type, oily T-zone was also unsure but gave it a go regardless.
What are the claims? DHC’s Deep cleansing Oil literally does what it claims; key ingredients Olive Oil & Rosemary Oil extracts provide the skin with an antioxidant, vitamin infused milky magic wash!
How to use an oil cleanser? For best results apply this on to dry skin. Yes really, dry hands to dry skin regardless of how much make up you are wearing (start with a small pump massage chin up working into your skin for a couple of mins and enjoy the relaxation!).
Stubborn eye make up? For binding mascara or eyeliners I like to mix a bit of oil and water on to a cotton pad and gently hold over the eye area for a minute, I find this really helps slide it all off. I love how this literally dissolves all the dirt, grease and how easily make up comes off with no more panda eye smears!
To Remove? Add a little water to the face and emulsify off, you should have a light milky texture. Repeat and keep splashing water to until you feel it’s all off. I would personally recommend to follow with a water based cleanser for a final deep clean, then continue with your regime.
For me, this is an excellent product and one that lasts for a considerable amount of time. Since discovering the secret of oil cleansing for me there is no way back! Not all oil products are made equal; look for antioxidant type ingredients to give a punch of brightening to your wash. I’ve found with other oil cleansers from even more well known brands just not made with the same power as this lesser known Japanese brand. If looking for a deep and easy clean I would most definitely recommend you try this cleanser.
