I hope you’re all having a great weekend whatever you’ve been up to 🙂 When it comes to Sundays what do you enjoy? Keep on moving? Some time for a bit of rest & relaxation? I very much like my chill out time, especially before the week starts over again!
Hot soak ♥
Rose Water Bath > When in need of some relaxation, it’s almost therapeutic by simply having a hot bath! Especially one that smells of roses! This is so good! Pour about 2 No. Small cup sized amounts of rose water into a full bath and then soak it up! Rosewater makes the skin feel super soft, when in the water there’s a slight texture to it which it feels nourishing against the skin! You could also use it to make a hydrating & gentle toner, or even as a step following on after toning. To give an additional moisture layer by tapping some of it’s liquid onto the face, before applying serums etc.
♥ Mask or equivalent
Sheet Mask > After the soaking I do like to keep the momentum going by doing some kind of mask! Recently I’ve been using various types of sheet masks, there’s so many options out there! Heaps of them loaded with goodness! I’m particularly liking one right now by a company called Manefit it’s a Hydro-Gel sheet mask, I love the way it comes in 2-sections which makes it’s so much easier to apply! Fits the face better and it’s not as drippy as the cloth types. The mask is made up of a gel like texture, infused with Greet tea leaves and feels refreshingly cooling. Lay down for 20 mins, watch a movie, read a book, have a glass of wine, close your eyes or even take the minutes for a quick meditation 🙂 Whatever you do, just zone off for a while.
When all done you should feel and smell amazing! Not only for the external benefits of the pampering itself, but also for the time out away from the busy lives we lead ready to start a new week fresh and rejuvenated ♥
