Product of the Week > Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet Cream

Product of the Week > Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet Cream

Happy Thursday all ūüôā Not sure about your week but I’m certainly glad to see the weekend nearing!¬†Today, I’d like to share with you a cream I’ve been using for a while on and off, I like it for being super light yet provides good hydration. For those who prefer heavier creams this may not be the best pick for you (unless looking for something a bit lighter for the summer months or for holidays). However with an interest¬†in this brands simplistic approach¬†I felt it’s one worth sharing.

Pick of the week > Caudali Vinosource moisturising sorbet cream

The claims > ‘Provides¬†immediate and long-lasting calming/soothing action. Anti-oxidant rich with patented polyphenols the formula help strengthen & nourish skin from the inside out’. It’s a gel type of texture but does still feel like a cream. You can feel its so light in consistency almost like a moose / sorbet! I like that it spreads well over entire face with a comfortable feeling of hydration! With ingredients from Organic Grape water known for it’s hydrating effects to Chamomile, so good for the skin known for its highly soothing and hydrating properties. Then comes the power-house Polyphenols for that all important antioxidant boost! Win!

This sorbet like cream can be used morning or night; I tend to mix it up a bit but generally use it by day and night in the summer months. Despite having an oily yet thirsty skin type! It can be hard finding the right balance, I tend to stay away from products that feel too heavy on my skin, so layer up with lighter layers where this moisturiser sits in pretty well!

Verdict? Light, effective with good quality ingredients! I love the brands ethos ”greener planet, committed to cosmetics!”. I especially love the way this feels on my face! The absorption rate is pretty swift with no oily residues. My skin feels balanced & I don’t really feel it on my face, just comfortably hydrated all day. This is a very gentle moisturiser and for sensitive skin types I would especially recommend it. ¬†

I’m inspired by conscientious brands, with¬†a high-quality ingredients ethos! Everything I’ve tried so far from Caudalie hits this nail on the head for me, it all comes down the composition….¬†
